#How to compress pictures on android to send by text Pc#
I share with my PC and do all editing, including adding description of the photo, there as so much easier than on the small phone with small virtual keyboard. Any device shared with your Google Photos will automatically be updated. And then just send a text saying new photos have been added. Or if the photos are only being shared with family, then perhaps just give a one-time one share/permission to view everything. Putting in albums helps to keep things organised anyway.

Put the photos in an 'album' and just share the album if you don't want others to see everything. That way there is no limit as you are only emailing a hyper-link. There appears to be a plethora of image apps for android, most of which would be overkill, so can anyone recommend a simple/elegant solution or app to solve this? We would prefer to keep taking photos at the current size

There is no option in messages that I can see to automatically resize for transmit The only image viewing app on the phone is Google Photos - which does not appear to offer resizing The phone that was recently replaced would shrink the images and send them without issue the new one appears to run foul of a 2M size limit imposed by the network (I'm awaiting confirmation of this but I've confirmed I can send a 1.99M image but not a 2.02M one) I would normally recommend an alternative channel but these are elderly family with mobile phones but not computers She is in the habit of sending pictures taken to family via MMS (using the messages app) I have recently replaced my better-half's phone with a new Nokia 5. I am looking for suggestions/recommendations as to how best reduce the size of images on an Android phone prior to sending them via MMS automatically if possible. Hello fellow fools (or is it lemons these days?)
